Long over due, Zeph and Azeem Rise Up is timeless...

I purchased a white label from Amoeba about 4 years ago of Zeph and Azeem. It instantly became part of my daily rotation and I continued to search for more. Finally, Rise Up hit the shelves and I reminisced on that feeling of finding something great rom four years ago. 15 perfectly crafted tracks of island vibes, classic funk samples and boom baps beats with the legendary poet/mc Azeem on the mic. My favorites are Come One Come All, Everythings Different and That Type of Music. Bay Area real Hip Hop represent!!!

Definetly dope

Well done! Zeph and Azeem have in the strong traditions of Bay area Hip Hop transcended the current hyphy flair, no disrespect, they bring you in on the musical level and knock you out with lyrics that will stay fresh for years. Only four stars because I haven't had it long enough to know if it merits five. Good music like many other pleasures in life gets better more interesting and sexier with age. Peace!

Triple Double ,

Here Comes the Heat!!!

From start to end, this whole album is solid. Zeph's style and Azeem's flows paired together is a force to be reckoned with. Hottest tracks are PLAY THE DRUM, HERE COMES THE JUDGE, COME ONE COME ALL, Time to Wake Up and Ay Mami. Keep the hits comin Om Hip Hop!
