EDITORS’ NOTES

On Revival, ex-members of metalcore favorites Devil You Know have recast themselves as Light the Torch with maximum sing-along results. Vocalist Howard Jones delivers one mighty chorus after the next, unleashing a wave of huge hooks over galvanic leadoff track “Die Alone,” the staccato chug of “The God I Deserve,” and the sweeping arena anthem “Calm Before the Storm.” Burbling electronics provide the foundation for the brooding “The Great Divide” while nu-metal guitars grind out propulsive rhythms on “Lost in the Fire” and “The Sound of Violence.”

Sounds good....

I can tell the band has better chemistry. Love Howard’s vocals. IMO killswitch was better with his vocals.

Awesome

I love this album, their first two albums under their old name were pretty mediocre but this album is flawless.
