I'll gladly write the first review...

This is a great collection by one of the most influential jazz guitarists of the 20th century.
For those out there who don't know a lot about Reinhardt, he was a Gyspy guitarrist, who at a very young age, had his left hand badly burned. More or less, some of the fingers on his left hand were basically fused together as a result of the accident. Which is why, when you hear the lightning-fast licks he plays, it makes his talent that much more amazing.
If this is your first intro to Reinhardt, take a listen to "Dinah," "Limehouse Blues," and "Nuages," and just TRY not to smile. There's an indefinable joy and excitement to Reinhardt's playing, as well as the interplay between Reinhardt and the also-inimitable Stephane Grappelli, one of the greatest jazz violinists ever.
Do yourself a favor, and listen to the works of someone who influenced everyone from Willie Nelson to George Benson.

One of the Greatest Ever

One of the greatest guitarists ever, across all catagories. If you haven't had the pleasure, or only have brief acquaintance with him, this would make a decent place to start. Django and Stephane Grapelli were one of music's most sublime pairings. Hundreds have covered Minor Swing, please try the original.
