Same Band Different Mindset

This album actually predates Cosmogenesis and is a re-release by the awesome Obscura. A lot of the songs resemble plain thrash metal, but given a closer look at the songs that clock at over 5 min. and you'll see what led to Cosmogenesis. It was pretty cool seeing them cover Lack of Comprehension by Death, WHICH ITUNES NEEDS MORE OF, but I digress. This album is actually worth a listen and it doesn't disappoint on the speed.

Holy Piss.

Having listened to both Omnivium and Cosmogenesis, I thought I had a pretty good feel for the overall sound of Obscura, but this album is entirely different from the rest of their discography.

It's more "Old school", if you will. More crushing. And less filler in the end. I'm ashamed I haven't checked this album out.
