Editors’ Notes For his 26th solo album, Brian Eno returns to the ambient sound he popularised with 1975’s Discreet Music. As with 1985’s Thursday Afternoon, Reflection consists of just a single track. This is generative music, where Eno programmed a set of sounds to repeat in infinite patterns. There’s an app version where Reflection plays forever—but here, bell tones prick and glimmer, soothing and unsettling in equal measure.
