EDITORS’ NOTES

Moving away from the coin-op video game references of Wreck-It Ralph, the English composer dives into online and cinematic worlds for inspiration on the sequel’s soundtrack. There’s “Vanellope’s March”, which salutes “The Imperial March” from Star Wars, and the similarly opulent and foreboding “Pulling the Plug”. Tucked within is an uplifting track from Imagine Dragons and a catchy 8-bit earworm from Vietnamese pop artists Uni5 and Han Sara. Meanwhile, actor/comedian Sarah Silverman lives every kid’s dream and bursts into a sweeping Disney tune cowritten by Alan Menken (“A Place Called Slaughter Race”) while Julia Michaels performs an electro-pop version of the same song (retitled “In This Place”).

Amazing

This is the best album. Although I haven’t watched the movie yet, the album still is cool.Only problem is, they shouldn’t have released it before the movie. 🙂🙃

Good soundtrack

To injusticeboiiii12345678: Just get the album Origins by Imagine Dragons. There you can get Zero for just $1.29. I kind of agree that a song made for a movie shouldn't be album-only on the soundtrack. Besides, don't rate an album one star simply because the only song you want is album only. Give it a three star because the album is otherwise good.
But enough of that.
But I thought the credits were hybrid electronic+orchestral. I like a combination of electronics with an orchestra.
