You ain’t seen nothing yet!!!

Kid stuff. A few very good songs, a few mediocre, some sophomoric. Guitar riffing and drumming can be addictive such as on “Regular John” and “Give the Mule What He Wants.” Some vocal melodies shine, but this is a young prodigy in bush league. Lyrically this album doesn’t show the promise of the great lyricist and singer Mr. Homme will become in the future, but his humor does shine through. This is the work of a beginning songwriter who will take giant leaps through the rest of his carreer and quickly mature into a true rock genius. Oh, yeah, Nick Oliveri’s contribution is a phone message at the end. This album demonstrates that Josh Homme WAS and IS QOTSA!!!
