Best record yet!

He just gets better and better. This is Robben Ford full on, reflecting his new home of Nashville, while keeping to his roots… Upending the standard blues form with his singular writing style. The production is lush and varied, and he continues to ring more voicings out of a guitar than mere mortals can only dream of. If you’ve been following Robben Ford since he burst on the scene with Charlie Musselwhite, Tom Scott and the LA Express, Joni Mitchell, Yellow Jackets, Miles Davis, Larry Carlton, and the ever excellent Robben Ford Band, et al, you will revel in the freshness of this latest effort. 5 stars!

Robben's best album!

Robben has been releasing very high quality material since the 1970's but this album features his best songwriting and singing, IMO. There are a lot of great blues artists in the world right now, but chances are, you won't hear a masterpiece of a song like "Bound For Glory" on their albums. Great songwriting is what sets the master artists apart from the rest of the crowd, and this album is jam packed with excellent songs. Well-done Robben!
