Amazing! Just buy it!

I am a long time Dream Theater fan. I have been waiting for Portnoy to get back to a band like this. I am not a fan of the winery dogs but I can get into this. I bought the album and there are epic tracks in the album that reminds me of early Dream Theater. For all those who hated James’s vocals.. here ya go! Haha. I loved the entire album and can’t wait for more. Mike seems to be drumming towards some awards with a couple tracks. A ten minute epic to start off and the last track... my god! Great job!

Buy this album now!

Jeff Scott Soto is just as powerful as he was 30 years ago! Jeff is one of the most underrated vocalists of the modern era, and undoubtedly, one of the best and he proves it here. Billy Sheehan takes on a somewhat different role, being more of a pocket player, but like everything else he nailed his part. Ron, Derek, and Mike drive this album home with some wild riff writing, but don’t get too crazy with odd time signatures that the average listener can’t relate. I’ve listened to the entire album multiple times and there is not a dead spot on it. I hope these guys stay together and write some more music in the future. Buy this album...it will not disappoint!

First Pass- First Impressions

GREAT disc! The music is thick and dense - lots of cool stuff goin' on, but you'd best be ready to appreciate Derek Sherinian because he is definitely THE showcase player on this disc. For all Portnoy's well-founded excitedness about 'Bumblefoot's' playing, this is not really a shredder's album or even a guitar album. It's, instead, a great BAND album with the keys being front, center, and driving the machine.
