Simply One Of The Best Albums On All Of iTunes

That's all there is to it. This is an amazing album. If you've never heard of The Divine Comedy, this album admittedly might not be the easiest to start with. It's one of those ones where you'll probably have to give it a few listens, but each song quickly grows on you until you get to the point where you realize that this is one of those rare albums where there honestly isn't a single track you'll want to skip, furthermore dislike. You're in for a real treat - Neil Hannon is an amazing song writer. Far and away one of the most under appreciated talents in the music industry who deserves to be mentioned alongside songwriting greats like Bob Dylan, John Lennon, Tom Waits, etc. And of course his singing is wonderful and addictive, too.
The Divine Comedy is one of those bands where when you first hear it, you'll say, "Where has this been all my life?!"

Mysterious and Beautiful

This is one of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. I'm working my way though all of The Divine Comedy albums at the moment, though not in chronological order. This one nicely showcases Neil Hannon's impressive range, but it also holds together very well as a unified work, thematically and tonally. I downloaded it two days ago and I've probably listened to it five or six times already in its entirety. As another reviewer said, there is not a single song I want to skip. Highly recommended.
