No one is going to believe this, but I honestly believe this is the best album from The Get Up Kids since the legendary “Something to Write Home About” way back in 1999. The lyrics are excellent, the guitar work is strong, and James Dewees’ keyboard playing is great. I also need to give props to bassist Rob Pope who is currently playing bass in two phenomenal bands at the same time (The Get Up Kids and Spoon). I especially love the songs “Problem is Me,” “Satellite,” “Lou Barlow” and “Waking Up Alone.”
