Pray 4 Love (Deluxe)

Editors’ Notes When Rod Wave first dropped Pray 4 Love in April of 2020, he told Apple Music that a newly imposed stay-at-home order had done little to affect his day-to-day life. “I’ve been quarantining for the past two years,” he said. It’s likely how he’d been able to build a catalog that includes his Hunger Games mixtape series, PTSD, Ghetto Gospel, and Pray 4 Love. He’s been nothing if not productive in the time since the release of the original Pray 4 Love, delivering the deluxe version just four months later with 11 new songs and 10 new videos. The new batch of songs includes guest appearances from veteran Memphis MC Yo Gotti and Atlanta star Lil Baby, but the videos—which span songs across both versions of Pray 4 Love—are all Rod, the MC allowing us to see that he’s doing as good as he sounds.
