Haunting and Catchy!

I can't get this song out of my head and that might be because I play it on repeat in my car when I go everywhere. Such a great song, awesome lyrics, cool instrumentation and love the ladies voices together! Can't wait to hear the next single after getting hooked on this one :)

Maybe the best song they've made so far.

I've been following these amazing young ladies for years now and I truly feel like this may very well be the best track they've made yet. It's a perfect blend of the sounds they've experimented with through the years. I love the dark vibe and tone. It will definitely get stuck in your head, but in a good way. You will just want to listen to it over and over again. You should definitely be listening to all of VON GREY's music, but if you're going to pick one song to listen to first, this is a good one to choose. I can't think of a better way to spend that $0.99, so just do yourself a favor and buy this song now and thank me later.

The floodgates have opened...

This wasn't my introduction to von Grey... but I can assure any reading this that this song is a fine example of what they have been cultivating, a moment of amalgamation that their rather remarkable career has been steadily growing and evolving into.
Young musicians, but not only have they graced the stages of SXSW and The David Letterman Show, they have proven to me over the last five years that they understand and intrinsically grasp the best concepts from every faucet in the vast musical realm and will seamlessly blend them into magic.
"Poison in the Water" is a reflection of those elements, from classical strings to heavy hitting pulses and vocals that alluringly brood and soar, the three sisters are gathering their musical strength to deliver a tonic from the manufactured mainstream, sonically and lyrically-- when you listen, you don't exactly think, "What am I listening to?", but rather, "Who...?"
If this is your introduction, then I will only say, "Sit down and open your ears, seeker-- you are in for one profoundly delectable ride."
