Three albums in, and Copenhagen native Maria Apetri aka Fallulah serves up a perfectly rendered synth pop compilation; fusing on-point electronic production with soaring falsetto vocals and even some homespun folk vibes. “Perfect Tense” sets the scene with hopeful sentiments, “Slow Love” is a faultlessly poised seduction howl, while her international pop credentials are exhibited perhaps most eloquently with the expansive alt-EDM single “Sorrow is a Shadow”—you’ll be humming it for days.
