EDITORS’ NOTES

The second in the rowdy four-piece group’s Party Pack series mainlines the sound of LA rap circa 2019 directly into your bloodstream. Shoreline’s style is minimal and debaucherous, with an unmistakable West Coast bounce; you probably don’t want to look to them for health tips (ahem, “Mind Right”), but they’re a sure shot for your next house party. There are a few moments of gravity amidst all the bacchanalia, like reverent nods to incarcerated hometown heroes 03 Greedo and Drakeo the Ruler, both of whom show up for verses on the rubbery “Wake Me Up in Traffic.”
