Parachute is an auditory pleasure

The Verve Pipe’s album Parachute is yet another melodically and lyrically pleasing display of incredible contributions by the band’s front man, Brian Vander Ark, electric and acoustic guitarist and vocalist Lou Musa, keyboard player Randy Sly, bassist, electric guitarist, keyboard player, vocalist Joel Ferguson, drummer Sam Briggs, and vocalist Channing Lee, with additional vocals by Verve Pipe regular tour member Craig Griffith. From start to finish, this compilation is filled with songs that become favorites from first listen and that have a pull that captivates the listener and enables them to completely enjoy the auditory journey. From the pleasing catchiness of “I Can't Get You Off of My Mind,” the entrancing “It's the Little Things,” the Beatle-esque and very satisfying “The Fine Line,” the melodious and lyrical beauty of “The Favorite Son” to the complex “Grieve for the Girl (That You Once Were),” Parachute delivers to the listener an incredibly diverse range of song styles that are both pleasing and incredibly fulfilling. This is the eighth studio album for The Verve Pipe and it is clear that they are just as motivated and just as able to please their fans with great music as ever before. Parachute is yet another wonderfully solid and intrinsically powerful array of songs that will leave the listener wanting more of The Verve Pipe.
