They got a raw deal

How has "Fool For A Pretty Face" not become an r'n'b standard? Check out the cool-ness of "Over You". There are other treasures within as well.

My lovers prayer

Worth the purchase for this Otis Redding cover. "Fool for a Pretty Face" and "Infatuation" are okay, but Steve Marriott just kills on "My lovers prayer". I will say this, Steve Marriott is not just greatest British R&B ever - he is one of the greatest R&B singers ever.

Solid Boogie Rock Veterans

Nearly forgotten by the 80's as the premier electric boogie rockers of the late 60's Steve Marriott's throaty blues shouting was an anomaly in the new wave/punk/disco scene that flourished then. But with the hit,"Fool For a Pretty Face" they showed that there was still a place in popular music for this type of good time blues rock. This is not their greatest album but still a fine solid effort by veteran rockers who still had the fire and a singleminded purpose to Rock On.
