EDITORS’ NOTES

M83’s cinematic tendencies come to a head on French musician Anthony Gonzalez's sixth album. Zola Jesus’ turn on “Intro” sets the scene like a cliff dive filmed in sparkling slow motion, and “Midnight City” amps up the synth-pop drama with soaring vocals and volleys of electronic drums. “Reunion” revisits the ringing guitars of ‘80s soundtrack staples from bands like Simple Minds, and from there Gonzalez glides across ambient interludes, bright digital keys, and stadium-sized New Wave. It’s the perfect marriage of indie aesthetics and blockbuster production.

Good but...

Not really sure why no one else has reviewed this cd. Really a great cd with a fantastic blend of ambient tones and dance electronic. A breath of fresh air to anyone who enjoys music that steps out of the mainstream comfort zone. Some songs like "Raconte-Moi Une Histoire" seem strange at first, but never the less they play their part on the album experience and I am sure mean something to the actual artist.

Bravo M83

This album... Makes you wanna cry.. :,)

This is THE greatest album of all time. The amount of time he put into this is mind blowing. Anthony Gonzalez is my hero.

Absolutely Euphoric

I'm one of the people that found them because I heard them on the Divergent movie soundtrack... But seriously. It's like an album full of goosebumps. I'm a fan of goosebumps. The whole album is so euphoric and powerful! Buy it!
