If music is my lover...

Once in a while, an absolutely amazing group like Rogue Wave comes along. And unfortunately, hardly anyone has heard of them. Rogue Wave's debut album took me a couple months to get into, but then I was hooked on their gorgeous melodic pop. Their work is stunning, and places itself at the top of my collection. I love all the songs on this album, especially "Falcon Settles Me" and "Postage Stamp World." I also recommend seeing them live, because their music actually drove me to tears. I don't relate them to the Shins, because Rogue Wave's unique sound is much better. Man-Revolutionary! is obviously Simon and Garfunkle influenced. Zach's vocals and lyrics are equally breathtaking, and I love the dreamy electro pop and acoustic guitars with a catchy folk side. You really should buy this album, along with Descended Like Vultures.

Rogue Wave rocks

I love this album. I discovered this band on itunes just recently. These days there are so many bands that sound the same. Rouge Wave on the other hand is a breath of fresh air. The previews for the songs dont do them justice. Most of the songs are not repetitive and actualy build to something. I think the albums stand out song is "Kicking the Heart Out". If there is one complaint I have about Rogue Wave is that there sound often hase too much of a Simon and Garfunkle vibe for my taste. Also check out there latest album "Descended Like Vultures."

Really F'ing good

The first Rogue Wave i heard was the free download of kicking the heart out a while back and that same day i convinced my parents to take me down the amoeba music store which happens to be a very far drive. Zach Rogue is even better live than the album and usually its the other way around. If you like the Shins or any other type of music, get this album and buy the new one Decended Like Vultures on October 25!
