Solid and deadly Viking metal. What more could you want?

This album right here. This is what got me hooked on Amon Amarth. Right. Here. I can listen tto this cd straight through. I have the double album: all the songs from the studio then the other cd is Live. I love them both. They sound effing awesome live. I am so thankful I was browsing one day and found this. Some people are not too keen on the vocals. I love the vocals. My favories on this album are Siegreicher Marsch and Friends of The Suncross. Just pure awesomness. My 8 month old son listens to this in the car with me.

Amazing music, buy the bonus edition!

Amon Amarth has really evolved from their first album. If you can get over the poor production quality and vocals, the guitar is amazing. I recommend the bonus edition as the live songs have better vocals and production quality, ironically. Additionally, if you started with Amon Amarth from their newer albums and want to get more, buy them from newest to oldest. They really evolve over the 18 years of albums. I would recommend starting with Fate of Norns, Twilight of the Thunder God, Deceiver of the Gods, Surtur Rising, With Oden On Our Side, or Jomsviking.
