Saw them open for Tool.

For the first thirty seconds or so I was wondering what in the hell was going on. It was not what I was expecting to hear. After the initial shock I was really into it. They are pretty awesome live. After the show I went to buy a CD but I didn’t see any of their merch at the table. I am getting my copy here.

I heard "I'll Be Fine" on KALX and bought the album on a whim. And POW it is just unbelievably fantastic. Musically complex with great hooks that make joyful sense. Like King Crimson had a baby with a pound of bacon - curiously delicious and addictive.

Instant Classic

This album has only been out for a few days and I am willing to put money down that it will become one of the most loved albums of this era and possibly all time by some of us. Transceding all barriers of their influences of 70's psychedelic prog pop these songs wrap around you and carry you into the future taking things so much further dynamically, sonically, and melodically. Once & Future Band efortlessly take the craft of songwriting to levels that have been rarely achived in the history of rock n roll and is the most exciting album I have heard in years. Brilliant.
