13 Songs, 52 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

A blistering, poised debut LP from the First Lady of dubstep, On a Mission deservedly propelled her (and dubstep) to mainstream UK success. The slinky "Easy Please Me" and trippy synths of "Why You Always Here" showcase her cut-glass vocals, while “Lights On” is an unapologetically joyous ode to a perfect night out. But it’s the Benga-produced “Katy on a Mission" that truly endures. An insidious ball of coiled dubstep energy, it’s a true stand-out from the genre’s all-too-diminutive canon.

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics.

Finally!

It's great to see another extremely talented artist from the UK (along with Jessie J, Adele, Tinie Tempah) bring their new style to the US! Broken Record is my favorite, but each song brings a unique aspect to the album! Let's hope these songs get played on our radio soon!

Been waiting to be able to legally purchase this! A great blend of dubstep pop and house. Overall a very cohesive album and melodious. "get away" is my absolute fave ^_^
