11 Songs, 36 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

The eclectic mix of muscular hard rock, brutal metal, and melodic balladry on O God Save Us All reaffirms why Disciple has survived and thrived for two decades. Vocalist Kevin Young leads his comrades through a bracing set of tunes that show off the band’s full sonic range while keeping its lyrics rooted in Christian faith. Disciple has always combined intense delivery with accessible songwriting, and this set is no exception. For those who admire the group’s '90s releases, songs like “Unstoppable” and “RIP” should satisfy any fan’s hunger for raw aggression. Young lets his snarling side take full control on “Kings,” the album’s most searing track. On the spectrum's other end are such radio-friendly ballads as “Draw the Line” (a celebration of spiritual surrender embellished by Micah Sannan’s chiming guitar lines) and “Trade a Moment” (a love song with both earthly and heavenly resonance). The hard-charging “Outlaws” and the uplifting “Beautiful Scars” have the ring of classic Christian rock anthems. Taken together, O God‘s tracks are a sustained testimony of belief delivered with a winning combination of ferocity and finesse.

Amazing, As Always!

I have been a Disciple fan for several years now. I own all their CDs and have autographed copies of 3 of them. This CD is arguably their best one so far. I still can't decide if I like Scars Remain more, but O God Save Us All is phenomenal! I highly recommend it, because Disciple has everything on this CD. From heavy tracks that speak of our relationship to the world through God and how we can be confident He will win in the end (Outlaws, Unstoppable, Kings, ect), to slower songs that make you reflect on who you are in the light of God's greatness and His work on the cross (Someday and Beautiful Scars); this CD gives you a well rounded listening experience that anyone will be able to enjoy. So what are you waiting for? Go buy it now!

Rockin' hard with a clear message of hope.

Disciple have pulled together a great album here. Recalling the hard rock days of By God and Scars Remain with a fresh feel and energy. The album flows nicely from start to finish keeping to its theme of the Christian life. You can't help being affected by the fire in the hearts of this band. Hard rocking angst into amazed revelation to honest love and joy. You'll want to bang your head, drive too fast and jump up and down while waving your rawk fist and singing at the top of your lungs!
Outlaws calls to the lost and angry youth in us all.
O God is a cry of recognition and desire for freedom from this strife filled life
R.I.P. declares that freedom and lets those fears know what they can do
Once and for all expresses gratitude in a soaring chorus that lifts the spirit
Draw The Line slows things down a bit as is that deciding moment we must face if we are to move forward in life
Kings brings back the ROCK and new found power of a life aligned with the King of Kings
Unstoppable further explores that power and kicks into a higher gear
The One is a live crowd anthem that encourages us that we are never alone
Beautiful Scars reminds us that what we were ashamed of can be used by God for our glory and His.
Trade A Moment dances across the sky in a beautiful rock fueled expression of love and joy

Amazing.

I've seen these guys several times, they are just out of this world. They play heavy music that demonstrates the love and power of God! And they do the same with their slow songs. You don't wanna pass up on these guys, trust me! This album just like their past ones has a great mixture of heavy songs and slow tunes, that just help capture the moment! It's worth the money cause you're supporting a group that's spreading the love of God through the lives they live. :)
