Cradle's Finest!!!

Up there with Dusk and Her Embrace and Midian, i would probably say this comes next. The songs are ridiculously brutal and really long, but changes tempo like every minute so u dont get bored like most metal bands. I hate ppl who write reviews just to bash a band that they dont like. I dont understand why. Great band by the way, this is a must if u dont already have it.

I may have cried tears of sheer joy when I listened to this album all the way through. I would give it 666 stars if i could. Everything from Satyriasis to the BEAUTIFUL Nymphetamine Fix is absolute genius. Cradle left Damnation and a Day's symphonic complexity for an elegant and melodic shadows-in-the-graveyard style, which they pull off better than any band I've ever heard. And I've been into metal for a long time. Heavy piano all the way through--I love it. Dani adopts a cross between all-out screaming and a kind of singing rasp--love it. Liv Kristine proves herself worthy of dueting with Dani on Nymphetamine fix and Overdose, too. Melodic songs are Gabrielle, Absinthe with Fause (AMAZING) English Fire, Swansong for a Raven (the sequal to Her Ghost, and a great ending to the story) and Nymphetamine fix. Thrashier songs are Gilded C***, Nemesis, Nymphetamine overdose, Medusa and Hemlock, Coffin Fodder, and Filthy little Secret.
Buy the album and prepare to worship.

Seriously underrated

Wow this album is really underrated. I think that this album in reality really demonstrates a milestone in this band's career, for it shows their range. But if you're not into buying the full album, I would recommend "Gilded C*nt" if you want something fast, "English Fire" for something raw, and "Swansong for a Raven", seeing as it is the sequel to "Her Ghost in the Fog"
