Great album, and great companion to 'Ernst'

A spendid piece of work by Nathanson, and you can truly appreciate and enjoy this record even more by acquiring the previous release first...many of these songs are full band versions of the acoustic songs on 'Ernst.'

Some old, Some new

Matt's third album follows one of my faves with re-recorded versions of 'All Been Said Before,' Church Clothes,' New Coats and New Hats,' Miracles,' & 'Somewhere to Hide, with the rest being new songs. I have to admit I like some of the re-recordings almost more than the versions from Ernst and the new songs like 'Wait Up' are a breath of fresh air!

Oldie But Goodie

I bought this album back in 1998 when Matt was touring around New Hampshire. He has made a fabulous career and I am proud to say I knew him before he went mainstream. This album is full of thoughful insights that many can relate to, and the acustic guitar is raw and unaccompanied by the usualy glitz and glammour of current production. I highly recommend!
