Editors’ Notes OH MY GIRL’s been sipping from the fountain of youth since their 2015 debut. Each comeback feels as cool and invigorating as the first, and so it goes with their seventh mini-album. The bubbly title track fuses EDM tempos with Latin rhythms and finds Mimi stepping to the front and ripping her bars. “Dolphin” is slick as its namesake, rife with trap hi-hats and stuttering snares. On “Flower Tea,” the ladies compare a blossoming love affair with the ceremonial precision of tea-making and, er, forces of nature (“Take my flower,” they repeat, feel free to interpret). Whether diving deep into synth-pop past (“NEON”) or present (“Krystal”), the girls’ energy stays potent and refreshing as a hit of oxygen.
