EDITORS’ NOTES

The crooner defies expectations on his self-produced seventh LP. While Nobody But Me still features plenty of big band romance (as well as a stirring cover of The Beach Boys’ “God Only Knows”), the acoustic pop of “I Believe in You” and rap-enriched “Nobody But Me” (which features a verse from The Roots’ Black Thought) prove that Bublé’s much more than a throwback.

Best single yet!

Nobody But Me is the best song that MB has ever done! What an amazing, transformative artist. Classic Buble meets modern radio hit! This will surely be a song that will be played on the radio for decades to come. Congrats on your best work yet, MB!

Michael coming back strong with ANOTHER ONE!

Michael rises above the modern mundane mist of music with his never-failing aspiration to keep it fresh! A true artist is never afraid to fly his colors, whether or not your every-day "musical nazi" is going to like, or agree with it. Hearing this new single should not disappoint true music lovers, it should intrigue and impress them. His ability to create what some might consider this new "Bublé" genre never ceases to amaze me. Let's not to forget to mention his take on all of these timeless Jazz Standards, he does not copy, he does not tribute, he does not "want to be", he is making his notch in history as a true artist who puts his own soul, and his own voice into a melting pot music phenomenon. Anybody who really loves Jazz, and even music in general needs to give recognition when it is due to somebody who can resurrect an otherwise decrepit art, and have today's younger generation fall in love with Jazz. When somebody asks me who my favorite Jazz artists are, and I start to list the legends like; Dean Martin, Mel Tormé, Bobby Darin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, and even Bobby Rydell, Bublé has earned his way onto that list. That is why this album, simply a pre-order, at this point locks in five-stars from me. I do not have to listen to the many Standards listed on this album to know that I will love how he does it. On a more personal note, "My Kind Of Girl" is quite possibly my all-time favorite Jazz Standard, it is also my song for my wife. All-in-all it cracks me up to see the negative reviews on an album that you can not even listen to yet, open your minds.
