2 Songs, 43 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

A continuation of George Harrison’s intriguing exploratory work, Electronic Sound consists of two lengthy avant-garde electronic pieces performed on an early Moog synthesizer. While neither track is a song in the traditional sense, “Under the Mersey Wall” is the tamer of the two, with more-recognizable musical notes phasing and shifting in stereo. “No Time or Space,” by comparison, is incredibly wild, building over time from random noises into sounds that suggest wind sweeping through an increasingly hostile electromagnetic field. Prepare to freak out.
