Amazing Concert

Perfect mix of all Sufjans best styles into one concert with no songs from Seven Swans or Illinois. Only True artists can accomplish that.

Carrie and Lowell live again...

One of the most moving, harrowing yet spiritually energizing shows I have ever seen. It goes without saying he is a modern day musical genious in my opinion, but there is no album quite like Carrie and Lowell, it moves me more everytime I listen to this modern day masterpiece and now it takes shape in another form of memory, brought back to life with his live performance, one that had an entire audience brought to tears, moved by love and joy and an overwhelmingly dark theater that was completely filled with light. Not a big fan of live albums usually, very few carry the strength of the originals it emulates, but here, it takes on a different form and never looses it's depth and passion for such beautiful pain. Thank you Sufjan, and thank you Carrie (and Lowell) for inspiring such magnificent and profound music.

odd ending

This is a beautiful album, but the last track takes you out of the mood that the rest of the album puts you in. It's not about the quality of the last track, just that it is out of place here.
