22 Songs, 1 Hour 10 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

When it comes to big bands operating within the regional Mexican genre, this sizable Sinaloan outfit doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. A relatively lengthy effort from the group, spanning 70 minutes, No Me Mires Así presents a broad, contemporary vision of what Banda Los Sebastianes has to offer. Highlights here include the positively gushing “La Persona Perfecta” and the crushingly restrained “Cuánto a Que Te Olvido.” Furthermore, the group appends to the album some material from the previously released A Través del Vaso, most notably the seemingly unexpected collaborations with Panamanian reggaetonero Joey Montana and Colombian pop singer Sebastián Yatra.
