Once in a Blue Moon!

I had the pleasure of listening to some of the new album once in a Blue Moon, (literally) at the Levitt Pavilion in Westport. Takes Time and Crumble are instantly familiar! Go see a show if you can!

Three, is a magic number.

The Sweet Remains’ three part harmonies are on point once again in this, their third album. After listening once through, there are already stand-out songs, begging to be re-played. “Night Song”, “Takes Time”, and “When We Were Young”, are early favorites. This continues the excellence of their first two albums, “Laurel & Sunset”, and “North & Prospect”, while expanding their musical repertoire. Well done gentlemen.

very touching album

Very rarely do i come across an album that really reaches into my soul. You can tell that this is truly organic, which is extremely satisfying with modern music being so loud and in your face (which has a time a place) but The Sweet Remains is just...peaceful and great to sing along with.
