Never Neverland

This album performs the impossible: following up Alice In Hell. There is not one weak track on this album. Highlights include The Fun Palace, Sixes and Sevens, Never Neverland, Imperiled Eyes, Phantasmagoria, and Reduced To Ash, although as I said, there are no weak tracks on this album. No, nothing but pure, unadulterated thrash metal. Jeff Waters is God.

Sophomore Slump

'Alice in Hell' is a really good thrash album, especially for a debut. But 'Never, Neverland' is Annihilator's sophomore slump. Jeff Waters is a very technically gifted guitar player, but you'll find his work on this album to be very redundant. The vocals by Coburn Pharr are terrible. The high point (if there is one) is 'Road to Ruin'. The chorus is written well enough that the vocalist can't even screw it up. Instead of buying this album, check out either the album before it (Alice in Hell) or the album after it (Set The World on Fire), they are much better albums with much better vocals.
