No doubt another masterpiece.

Mysterium is an album borne of grief, a fact manifest even in the first single. It's beautiful, yet tragic. I often find that albums created through tragedy are the most captivating, and I have no doubts that this will be another of Hammock's best ambient ventures to date.

If I could give my breath away, I would.

Hammock's music has always dealt with grief and loss in a spiritual, ethereal manner. Mysterium takes that to the next level; a deeply personal affair. Choirs, strings, and horns create majestic soundscapes, as if to lift the soul of the departed up to the heavens.

If you're familiar with Hammock, think of Mysterium as somewhere in between the minimalism of Maybe They Will Sing For Us Tomorrow and the mournful nature of Oblivion Hymns.

If you're new to this amazing duo...buy this album, turn off the lights, and enjoy.

This artist is amazing. Best music to sleep, relax, and think to. This needs a separate genre on its own! Mysterium pulls on the heart a great deal!
