7 Songs, 23 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Flo Rida had been spinning his Miami bass roots and singsong flows into pop-rap gold for a decade by 2015’s My House. This seven-track EP continues the tradition with hits like the manic EDM banger “GDFR.” But the MC shows a newfound emphasis on soulful funk with “Wobble,” which grabs a swaggering vocal loop from early-’60s rock ’n’ roller Little Willie John. And the title track slows things down with a breakbeat, from The Honey Drippers’ “Impeach the President,” that evokes ’90s boom bap.

Flo Rida

Been following flo rida since Roots, and he always delivers. Lyrically isn't great but makes fun music, don't take him seriously.

Working on a great comeback

People don't understand that this Is an EP. So it's only a sample of songs he's been working on, maybe songs that got left from his new album. Or just brand new music. He's been keeping it low for the past 3 years with some ok singles in the middle but he's finally back to what he's good at. Making fun and radio hits! Don't hate on it! Give the man some respect! He does the music for his fans!
