EDITORS’ NOTES

Steven Tyler’s two seasons as an American Idol judge doubled as an extended pop immersion program. The reenergized Tyler and Aerosmith unleash Music from Another Dimension!, the Boston bad boys’ first album of original songs in 11 years. The band balances the radio-friendly balladry they've perfected (“What Could Have Been Love”) with the nasty, slashing blues rock they pioneered (“Legendary Child,” “Beautiful,” and “Oh Yeah”)—a sound and style echoed by more than a few indie antiheroes.

Ehhh

Pretty decent, but it's straying a little away from their original sound.

Tweachzone ,

Goog songs horrible audio quality

It has had the life squashed out of it. Not even a tiny amount of dynamics left in it. Just sounds loud and slightly distorted.

They're baaack!

Stand out tracks "Out Go The Lights", "Love XXX", and "Street Jesus". "Street Jesus" alone was worth the eleven year wait (if you're wondering if they still rock listen to it alone for proof) although the HONKIN' ON BOBO blues album was a great treat. "What Could Have Been Love" is what they do best and "Can't Stop Loving You" is a pleasant surprise. Welcome back guys after 42 years and counting....
