How about some of the older stuff

Would love to download anything off of the "From The Start To The Finnish". 502, Blues For Honey, PS I Love You.

Looking for more from this Southern California group. Remember Carlos O'Briens?

Keeping it Real

I reviewed this in San Diego Blues Lovers United and America Harmonica magazine. Once again the Rod PIazza and The Mighty Flyers demonstrate why they are the preminent blues band combining excellent soloing, ensemble dynamics, meticulous technique and raw passion. The music move from traditional blues, through early rock, jump, swing and jazz seamlessly and effortlessiy with deep soul. From the bottom of the bass and drum that controls your heatbeat and breathing to the heady upper end soloing and that vocal tone, they own you. Rod and Honey Piazza on harmonica and piano, Henry Carvajal on guitar are monsters. Seeing them live is a must. Check out their DVD, Big Blues Party, For the Chosen Who a more recent album is a must with some traditional grooves, HarpBurn and Live at BB King's are just two of my favorites. Virtuoso's in every positon who blend the weave like magic butter.

Mighty Flyers Forever!

Most of my collection of this band is on vinyl so I hope they put some of their earlier albums up on itunes right away. Rod Piazza is their amazing singer/harp player and showman and I am always inspired every time I watch Honey play the piano! The bass and drum solos are very exciting too. This whole band is incredible. If you ever get the chance to see them in your town, make sure not to miss them!
