Raw, Glorious, Powerful.

Bright Eyes are a revolutionary congregation of beautiful, talented people who deserve to be recognized. Conor Oberst is the musical and lyrical equivalent to Jesus. His raw, quavering voice drives the Bright Eyes to new levels of "Indie-Rock" or "Folk" (or whatever you want to classify them as.) Live or "recorded," the Bright Eyes drill into your veins and your heart. They fill your soul will melodies and ballads of expression and passion. If this is not TRUE art, then no such concept exists.

great sound.

A lot of artists are so processed that they can't even put out a live album. Not only are Conor's voice and instrumentals great, but so is the quality of the recording.

Different from the studio albums in a great way.

This is a great addition to anyone who is a fan of Bright Eyes, whether you are a casual or a die-hard one. The sound quality is great in spite of it being a live album and the songs take on a new life not seen in the studio-recorded versions of the songs. I have nearly every album of this band, and this album is one that I listen to more frequently. I would absolutely recommend this album, specifically the songs "Make War," "Southern State," and "At the Bottom of Everything."
