Love the new remixes

I've had the original Mixed up on CD since I was a kid. It was my first Cure CD and had remixes of a lot of their hits at the time. So on Record Store Day I was sure to pick up Mixed Up and Torn Down which is what comprises this "Deluxe Edition".(There are also 11 MORE tracks that we can currently only hear the Lovecats remix of until released)
Some people get really angry when they hear remixes. I don't know why but they break out the pitchforks, torches and generally just freak out "Why are you messing with what I like! Why aren't you working on what I want!" It's very disturbing. If you don't like remixes don't listen to this album because it is an actual remix album. It was advertised as one and Robert Smith was not tricking you. The title "Mixed Up" is not just a name. It really means mixed up.
SO... if your psyche can handle hearing Robert change some melodies/beats around give it a listen. My favorites of the new lot:
The Drowning Man(Second Fav), Just One Kiss, Plainsong, From The Edge Of The Deep Green Sea(Favorite), The Lovecats, and Lost.
I suggest using headphones as you risk harming some unsuspecting bystander with different versions of already released songs.

A Cure classic ! ❤️

This is and has been a special Cure album to me. The classic mixes remastered by Robert Smith, I can’t wait! Love the new mixes, they are also mixed by Robert... I’ve heard them all on vinyl (“Torn Down”). 💋.
