Poorly recorded, poor content

This sounds as if it was taken off of an old cassette tape. It's awful. And then there's the content: he spends half an hour walking people through the eating of a raisin. If you really want to know how to do mindfulness meditation, just look it up on the web. A lot of these teachers make it so complicated and mystify it. If they didn't, they wouldn't have wide eyed stupid mystics coming back over and over, emptying out their wallets to hear it over and over again. There's no mumbo jumbo about meditation: all it is is cutting down your stimuli to either a mantra or your breath and gently focusing on them. The brain has a natural tendency to synchronize its brain waves to any dominant stimuli (this is why you feel like moving when you hear music with a beat). There's nothing religious or mystical about meditation; it's a purely physical phenomena. I say that as a Christian who does believe in the supernatural but who does not believe there is anything supernatural about meditation. It's nothing but a relaxation exercise. You won't reach God, nirvana, Buddha, heaven, or Alllah with meditation. You won't learn the secret of existence. You won't learn the meaning of life. And teachers need to stop conning the gullible into thinking so. It's just a relaxation tool.
