Editors’ Notes Emotion is always simmering just below the surface on Brave New World, in which the Bethel Music vet delivers original songs in a more confessional mood. She explores the true nature of God on the dreamy, pop-infused “Never See the End” and on the languid, liquid “Pieces.” Over the swelling build of “Heroes,” she encourages us to dance despite our disappointments, and on “The Voyage” urges us to look beyond rough seas, trusting that God has our best interests at heart. It all makes for a mystical, melodic adventure.
