10 Songs, 33 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

We Came As Romans surge into new, more melodic territory on their fourth studio full-length. With guidance from producer David Bendeth (Papa Roach, Paramore), the Michigan metalcore outfit collaborated alongside other songwriters in Detroit, New York, and Los Angeles. The result is a set of songs that’s as diverse and expansive as it is heavy. While the single “Who Will Pray” begins with gauzy electronics, it blooms into a sledgehammer-like anthem whose soaring chorus is echoed later in the synth-lined pop of “Savior of the Week.”
