Max Hanrahan ,

For Lack of a Better Word, Haunting.

This album flows very naturally and has a very (for lack of a better word) haunting quality about it. It is my favorite Porcupine Tree album, maybe a little less experimental than Fear of a Blank Planet, but it has a unique conceptual feel, almost stream-of-consciousness in its musicl and lyrical presentation. Lazarus and Ariving Somewhere but Not Here are certainly personal favorite cuts (I especially like the Opethian solo on the latter track), but PLEASE, dear reader, just listen to the last two minutes of Mellotron Scratch before you die.
