EDITORS’ NOTES

Taylor Swift and Panic! At the Disco’s Brendon Urie celebrate their individuality on this single rippling with military drumming and sunny pop. “It’s about not feeling like you’re replaceable,” Swift told fans in an exclusive Apple Music video message. "We’re sent so many messages that there’s a better version of us on a social media app, with better abs, in a better vacation spot. You’re the only one of you—that’s it. There’s just you.”

Taylor Swift’s Colorful Metamorphosis

Taylor Swift has been able to successfully reinvent herself throughout her career. From the girl who dropped tears on her guitar, the girl who dreamed of a love story, the girl that made sparks fly, the girl that knew it was all too well, the girl that shook it off, and the girl that took back her reputation. Taylor Swift was able to find and fall in love with herself thanks to all those girls. Her new era and sound reflect her happiness, inner peace, and a true love for life. Her new sound also pays homage to her earlier ones. Indeed the best chapter in her life thus far.

Taylor is back!

While her darker image was probably cathartic as a person and artist, it’s nice to have the old positive vibes Taylor back. A wonderful catchy song like this is just what we need right now!

Yikes

Wow this is so obnoxious. It’s generic and it sounds really unoriginal. I guess they just figured as long as Brendan Urie’s in it people will buy it anyway, so it doesn’t have to be good. Just why.
