Right from the firecracker drum work that kicks off “Vaathi Coming”, composer Anirudh Ravichander unleashes a riotous sound. “Andha Kanna Paathaakaa”—a team-up with musical heavyweight Yuvan Shankar Raja—matches a tropical tune with cheeky but heartfelt Tamil lyrics. The movie’s star Vijay gets on the mic for the comedic “Kutti Story” that floats atop rubbery folk beats. And on the ferocious “Vaathi Raid”, firebrand rapper Arivu brings a sharpened edge.
