The best STD you can get

Nerds are hot and Mark Schaffer is a big part of why. Intelligent rhymes, awesome beats, and attitude. Mark of the Beast builds on the humor and awareness of 2004's Meet My Maker and also continues the saga of the Clonef*cker.

Evil Genius

Sometimes you stumble upon an artist that reminds you why you care about music. Schaffer is not just a genius. He is an evil genius as he clearly proves with his masterpiece "Supervillian" with throw-away lines like, "Chillin like a supervillian Killin for sport", that are better than most lyricists come up with in their entire careers. Listen to "The Tin Man", in which the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz is recast as an evil monster. You will listen over and over to hear him (Spoilers, LOL) tear out the heart of the Wizard and proceed to burn the Scarecrow and skin the Cowardly Lion. The flow and depth of his lyrics and the feeling with which he delivers them all show that this is a creative force that has grown over and above what he offered the world in his debut album, "Meet My Maker", and it leaves you with the hope that there will be much more to follow from STD. (That stands for Standard)
