A Love Letter to Hans Zimmer

Simply put, Antonio Pinto knows exactly what the audience needs to hear in "Lord of War." His style borrows from the easy flowing trance style of Hans Zimmer, while preventing the music from falling into the trap of being too thematic. This is not a stand alone album though. Those who loved the film should not hesitate; however, this soundtrack is a companion to "Lord of War."

Not All Music Included From Movie

I returned the CD after finding out that all of the pop/rock songs used to supplement the soundtrack, such as "Money" by The Flying Lizards and Eric Clapton's "Cocaine", were excluded from this CD. I'll wait for the complete compilation of music used in Lord of War to come out.

Mr. R ,

A really cool, simple album.

I recommend it. I could listen to the the final track all day.
