His Best from Top to Bottom

This is Charlie's best overall album because it has everything! It begins with the south-west sounds of Caballo Diablo, then the classic Long Haired Country Boy. Then it's got the funky beat of Trudy and then my favorite Georgia. It's got Jazz feel with Feeling Free, Southern Rock with The Souths Gonna Do it Again, Blues with No Place to Go and Bluegrass with the classic Orange Blossom Special. The musicianship on this album is fantastic. Enjoy!

God bless the Charlie Daniels

This music brings back the good times I had in the 70's. I remember listening to it, along with other favorites like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Grateful Dead, and Pure Prarie League.

Track #8 is reason enough to spend the money on this album. Sadly when people think of Charlie Daniels they associate him with the fiddle and devil went down to Georgia. While he is an excelent fiddle player I would rather hear him on a LesPaul. This album covers it all from southwestern track#1 anthem#2 & #6 Allman Bros. style jam #8 and fiddle #9.
When he busts into No place to go you can hear it in his voice he is giving all he's got!
