Still remains

I have been a huge fan of FW since my brother turned me onto them in the 90’s and had looked forward to every release they had to offer. It is of my opinion that this band never received the notoriety it deserves! Fates Warning deserves to be mentioned with the hierarchy of rock and progressive!
As for this release I am in awe of the musicianship and Ray’s voice. The song selection is epic and brings back a ton of memories. When I saw Pale fire and Silent Cries on the play list I was hoping they’d somewhat resemble the originals. Let’s be honest they are tough songs to sing! I was pleasantly surprised that Ray was able to nail them. I was also happy to see that many of the new songs from Theory were on the playlist.
Overall this is probably the best live release I’ve heard in a long time! My hopes are that Fates continues to release music! They have so much more to say and as a fan I am more than willing to listen! Long live Fates Warning.....

Amazing

The album captures how amazing their catalog is....it’s not just that they’re great musicians. Anyone expecting Ray to be hitting those high notes will be disappointed, but the melodies he sings have the same power they’ve always had. No exit is still on my top 5 albums...the live performance only shows they have gotten better with age....
