Not great

I’m starting to believe this band peaked with Outlaw Gentlemen...these 2 or 3 chord “happy” sounding songs are starting to get boring as hell...where’s the darkness? The heaviness? What the hell happened to these guys? Did a little bit of commercial success really put their balls in a vice? So disappointing...

I kind of want to cry

Volbeat has been a staple band for me for that hard rockabilly metal vibe. I’ve been to 4 concerts and had my mind blown by the energy and aggressive playing of them.
Now, with the release of some of the songs on this new album, I’m taken aback. The lead singer has a voice you immediately recognize but the sound? It’s soft! So far the music has a generic rock radio vibe to it. I was going to pre-order the album but now I’m just going to wait to hear if the real Volbeat shows up.

Volbeat’s songs are great ... great people

They create melodies that one can sing at the top of their lungs in the car.
REPEATEDLY....!!!
They are gracious and give 100% at their concerts.
Love some Volbeat.
