Where have you been

Thank you it's been along time since I've heard some good old classic 90s Smoove jazz

Getting better all the time!

I have all of Najee's recordings, and this one is as good as any of them. The man is growing, and his music reflects it in ways that I don't hear from other artists. This is one that I can't get enough of.

SMOOTHJAZZ.COM REVIEW

Launching into his fourth decade as a recording artist with POETRY IN MOTION, a sublimely diverse album that truly lives up to its title, saxophonist and flutist Najee continues to groove, inspire and innovate. In fashioning a set worthy of its dedication to late greats Al Jarreau and Prince, the multiple Grammy nominee mixes it up with everything from romantic R&B and high flying funk to seductive Latin jazz and a bit of classic new jack swing. Najee makes it an all-star party with featured artists and friends Bluey of Incognito, Will Downing, Maysa, Eric Roberson, Barry Eastmond, Bobby Lyle, Blake Aaron and Randy Bowland. When you set POETRY IN MOTION, it comes out in the multiple shades of awesome that drive this forward thinking album.
